Delete your account
Delete your Hook It account and personal data.
Delete it in the app (fastest)
- Open Hook It and go to More → Personal Information.
- Scroll to the Danger zone and hold the Delete account button.
- Confirm in the final dialog.
You are signed out of every device straight away. If you change your mind, log in within 7 days and tap Restore account.
What happens to your data
After the 7-day window, we permanently erase your personal data: your email, name, username, profile picture, sign-in details (including Apple and Google links), notes, collections, tags, push tokens and notifications.
We keep some information in anonymous form, with nothing that identifies you: links you saved (and their cached previews) may stay as cached copies, and billing and subscription records are kept as required for tax and accounting. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscriptions.
If you signed in with Google, you can also remove Hook It from your connected apps at myaccount.google.com/connections.
