How to save from Instagram
Save Reels, posts, and profiles from Instagram in one tap using the Share Sheet.
Save anything from Instagram in 3 seconds
Instagram is a goldmine for inspiration — from workout routines and travel spots to home decor and must-have products. Here's how to save any post, Reel, or profile link directly to your library.
Step 1: Find the content you want to save
Open Instagram and navigate to the post or Reel you want to hook. Whether it's a fitness coach's new routine, a restaurant recommendation, or a beautiful interior design post, you can hook it.
Step 2: Tap the Share button
On a Reel, tap the paper airplane icon (Share). On a regular post, tap the three dots (···) in the top right and select Share.
Step 3: Select hook it from the Share Sheet
Scroll through the iOS Share Sheet until you see hook it. Tap it.
What happens next
hook it opens briefly, saves the link, and our AI automatically extracts:
- The title or caption
- The creator's name
- A thumbnail image
Your hook appears in your library within seconds, fully labelled — without you typing anything.
Tip: Save to a Collection
When saving, you can optionally choose a Collection to organise the hook straight away.
Troubleshooting
Don't see hook it in the Share Sheet? Make sure hook it is installed and you've used it at least once. iOS sometimes needs one use before an app appears in the Share Sheet.
The AI didn't extract everything? Some private accounts or stories have limited metadata available. Try saving the profile link instead.
