How collections work

What is a Collection?

A Collection is a named group of hooks. Think of them like smart folders — except more flexible, more visual, and easier to browse.

You can create as many Collections as you want. Common examples:

• 👟 Workouts — exercises and fitness routines
• 📚 Reading List — books and long-form articles
• 🍕 Food & Drink — dining ideas and restaurant saves
• ✈️ Travel — destinations and hotel inspiration
• 🛍️ Wishlist — products and gift ideas

Creating a Collection

1. Go to the Collections tab in hook it
2. Tap the + button
3. Give your Collection a name and choose a colour
4. Tap Create

Adding hooks to a Collection

You can assign a Collection when you save a new hook, or add it later:

• At save time: After tapping hook it in the Share Sheet, select a Collection before confirming
• From your library: Tap any hook → Edit → Collection → choose one

A hook can belong to multiple Collections.

Changing a Collection colour

Tap and hold any Collection → Edit → tap the colour swatch to pick a new one.

Deleting a Collection

Tap and hold a Collection → Delete Collection.

Note: Deleting a Collection does not delete the hooks inside it. They stay in your library and can be added to other Collections.
